Hugh Jackman said he was really done playing the Wolverine character after Logan (2017)

Plot

Deadpool is offered a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by a time-varying entity, but instead recruits a variant of Wolverine to save his universe from extinction. The Deadpool & The Wolverine crew talks about how they got around risque jokes, and Emma Corinne talks about working with nice guy megastars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. He later regretted that statement after seeing the first Deadpool movie and expressed his interest in seeing the two characters meet on the big screen to Ryan. When asked why he chose to return to the film, he simply replied, "I just wanted to do it and I felt it in my gut," adding that he wanted to spend the best possible time on the set with Ryan Reynolds. Likewise, Reynolds had wanted to work with Jackman since the first Deadpool movie and was upset when he (Jackman) backed out of the role.

It got old

Although Deadpool is known for his foul, foul language, this movie was over the top. With all the jokes made in the previous movies and trailers, this movie came out with a near-empty gas tank. The plot was just dumb and didn't add much to the Deadpool franchise. Most of the humor was the same formula. After a while, I felt like a funny comedian telling the same joke over and over again, but in a different style.

There were some fun scenes, but for the first time in a Deadpool movie, there were many parts where I just lost interest and looked at the clock. They probably should have taken the wins from the first two Deadpool movies and left it at that. on top of that - and I'd be 100% fine with that. Not worth buying a movie ticket for, but good enough when converted to digital.
